With the help of Celebrity Sculptor Melvin Slavick, America's Helping Hands has gathered 134 famous celebrities and has casted their hands in Marble casting stone. These sculptures represent the many wonderful charities of America, from Pediatric AIDS to Zoological Society. These sculptures will tour the country to help promote "Volunteerism" in America with an auction at the conclusion of the tour.
During the casting session with each celebrity, Melvin had each of them sign two books
and two business cards. He also took three photos of them, one with his assistant, one
with him, and one with the celebrity with their hands in the casting solution. The books
are for proof of authenticity and in the order of when each celebrity did their casting
session. The two business cards were to place one with the finished Sulpture and the other
was a backup just in case of mishap.
