America’s Helping Hands
"Private Show"Dear Fundraiser,
Thank you for considering our Foundation and Celebrity Friends to give (Your Foundation) a Helping Hand with your next fundraiser.
Here are a few things you need to know...
We will bring:
- 134 1/2 = Sculpture Hands of our Celebrity Friends
- 23 = 2'x4'x 5' 6"tall displays,
- 10 = 2'x'4'x 6'9"tall two side banner floor stands,
- Two tall directors chairs and tall table,
- Two clear donation and ticket containers.
- The artist Mel will be there to talk about "Volunteerism" and the "Behind the Hands Q&A"
- Contact our celebrity Friends (in your area) to see if any can make an appearance.
- Mel and his assistant will be attending.
You to provide:
- Transportation to and from Orange California to your location. If close enough, (20' Truck with lift gate rental, mileage, gas, ect. or private carrier) plus insurance. With a private carrier, then two round trip airline tickets for Mel & Mel's assistant will be needed plus ground transport.
- Room and board for duration of show.
- We will need at least 7-10 volunteers to help set up and take down show.
- Location for show, we recommend a local Mall. You can rope off the show for one day in the morning and then have a private party after the Mall closes. Then as a gift to the community you open the show for 1 or 2 days to the public making sure you leave your banners there about your Foundation for all to see.

- And if possible and if you think it's needed a PA system?
- Have a wine and chef-d'oeuvre event like a gallery and sell tickets to the event
During the private show you can have an Opportunity Drawing for prizes and Live Auction.
- A personal sculpture of the winners hands by Artist Mel Slavick (to be done right then and there. Max 5)
- You can invite up to 10 local Celebrities (Mayor, News personalities, Radio DJs, Local Sports Celebrity, ECT) That we can cast their hands there at the party. You have a live auction during the casting. Mel will then finish the sculpture at his studio and ship them to your foundation within a month for you to give to the winners.
In addition America's Helping Hands has a souvenir "134 1/2 Autographs & Photo Book". It is a black & white version of all the celebrities autographs and photos of their hands. It sells for a $25.00 donation. The funds raised from the sale of the book during the show shall be divided 25% to AHH and 75% to (Your Foundation) after the cost of the book, which is $3.50 per book.
This PRIVATE SHOW is to raise funds for America's Helping Hands Foundation and (Your Foundation). AHH will receive 25% and (Your Foundation) will receive 75% of all the monies raised from the Private Show, including (the sale of tickets to the show, Opportunity Drawings, Live Auctions and sale of AHH's Souvenir Book. (Your Foundation) shall be responsible for all monies donated. Within one week of show AHH shall receive a full accounting of funds and a check for 25% to America's Helping Hands Foundation.
